ICE Concept
The Holistic Application Chain Concept® (ICE Concept) is a concept that guarantees the satisfaction of the person who has a prosthesis or orthosis application. We take the prosthesis-orthotics applications under quality assurance not with the logic of fait accompli, but with the approach of versatile applications. The first step of a good prosthesis application is a socket application that is fully compatible with the user. In our center, we use the best socket production technologies to produce the most suitable socket for you, and we make a test socket application before the permanent socket application.
Why test socket? After the permanent sockets are reshaped with heat, their strength decreases and in fact, they are not suitable for reshaping with heat due to their structure. Even sockets made with carbon cannot be reshaped with heat. Before the permanent socket production, necessary socket corrections can be made with the thermoplastic test socket without compromising the strength of the permanent socket. Although this application increases the cost and application time in the short term, it prevents socket mismatch and the cost of a second socket in the future. In our center, we make test socket application in all applications without exception. For a good prosthetic orthotic application, the logic of taking your prosthesis is wrong.
In order to be a good prosthesis - orthosis user, rehabilitation applications must be performed before and after the application in the presence of a specialist physiotherapist. With pre-rehabilitation, we prepare your muscles for the application of a new prosthesis or orthosis. With the final rehabilitation, we aim for you to walk correctly with a prosthesis or orthosis indoors and outdoors, and to show the closest gait to your gait before amputee.
With our measurement control applications, we compare how much your old prosthesis and your new prosthesis affect your quality of life. In this way, we prove how much the prosthesis we make increases your quality of life, both to you and to ourselves.
Finally, we bid you farewell to your social life, but our work does not end here. There are 2 indispensable follow-up mechanisms in a quality prosthesis - orthotic service. With our 1st month, 5th month and 12th month controls, we check the socket compatibility depending on your stump volume changes. By making static and dynamic adjustment updates of your prosthesis or orthosis, we plan to eliminate those problems before you encounter any problems.
