R & D Activities
Nowadays, with the developing technology, human factor-based production methods are being replaced by computer-aided manufacturing systems where the margin of error is less, production costs are lower and production time is shorter. Our prediction in the Prosthetic Orthotics sector is that all of the prosthetic orthopedic practitioners in Europe have switched to computer-aided manufacturing over the next 15 years. Therefore, our mission is to make these systems usable first in our center and then in our country.
The biggest problem experienced by prosthesis users is the uncomfortable socket systems. Most of the socket systems currently manufactured do not meet the demands of prosthetic users. Our aim is to develop more comfortable socket and suspension systems for amputee individuals and make them applicable.
