When the transition to professional life is made, the biggest problem of the technician or prostetist & orthotist is that he / she cannot feel himself / herself sufficient for patient application. It may not always be possible to practice on the patient. Since they are inexperienced at the internship places where they go for practice, they do not have the chance to practice. While waiting for the patient to practice, it is not so easy for the student to gain experience by watching. We believe that it is necessary to take responsibility for that work, not to watch what others do to gain experience. Our aim; combining theoretical training with practical practice to gain practical experience on real patients. MONITORING, NOW As Bionic Academy, we provide practice trainings with amputees to get real feedback to technicians, prosthetists & orthotists or candidates who are practically lacking. OUR GOALS; • Practically learning at the end of the training a lot of information to be learned by observing the difficulties in 2-3 years, • Establishing sufficient infrastructure to start working in the Prosthetics & Orthotics sector, • How to evaluate a patient from scratch on their own, how to choose the appropriate prosthesis or orthosis, gypsum size measurement, model processing techniques, test socket construction, static and dynamic settings and computer settings, if any, gaining experience to make one-to-one application to demo amputes, • To be in a position to be able to leave the inexperienced position in the internship with such practice experience before starting the school internship, • Increasing the chances of mastering more subjects and working in the workplace in the future, • As a result, the theoretical knowledge can be put into practice.
